Three casual vacancies have arisen in the office of Councillor for Water Orton.

The Parish Council may fill these vacancies by co-option for the remainder of the current term, i.e. until the next ordinary elections in May 2023.

No qualifications or experience are necessary to become a Parish Councillor; however in the event there are more applicants than vacancies, the Parish Council will consider applicants based upon relevant skills and experience.

Candidates for co-option will be considered at our next meeting on Thursday 5th January 2023 at 6:30pm at The Pavilion, Openfield Croft. To be considered for co-option please return your application form by 12 noon on the day of the meeting.
