M22/01. To elect a Chair of the Maintenance Committee: To nominate and elect a Chair of the Maintenance Committee for 2022/23.

 

M22/02. Apologies: To receive and approve reasons for absence

 

M22/03. Declarations of Interest and dispensations: To receive Declarations of Interests and consider grant of dispensations of which written notice has been received by the Clerk.

 

M22/04. Maintenance Budget, Asset Replacement Fund and priorities: To discuss any remaining unspent funds in the maintenance budget for 2022-23, maintenance funds for 2023-24 and recommendations for full council regarding funding priorities for the asset replacement fund.

 

M22/05. Risk Assessments and Risk Management: To discuss Council Services, current risk assessments and risk management.

 

M22/06. Bus Shelter (Birmingham Rd nr Railway Station): To discuss options and costs for a replacement bus shelter on Birmingham Road.

 

M22/07. Bowls Pavilion: To discuss requirements of the Building Control regulations relating to fire safety.

  • Means of warning and escape submitted to Warwickshire Fire & Rescue Service for comment.
  • Proposed fire precautions for the premises including Fire detection/alarm system to BS5839:Part 1, Emergency lighting to BS5266:Part 1 and Fire signage to BS5499:Part 1.

 

M22/07. Pavilion Maintenance:  To discuss small items of maintenance for the Pavilion:

  • Groundsman Shed Lock Change – update.
  • Options to mitigate risk of trailing wires from modem and television.
  • Cooker Switch

 

M22/08. Playing Field & Play Equipment:

  • Update on Kickboard Repairs
  • Consideration of how to move forward with play equipment project with limited funding opportunities and reserves
  • Painting of equipment
  • Pitch Maintenance
  • Goal Post Sockets
  • Boot Cleaning

 

M22/09. Dog Bins and Litter Bins: To discuss potential options for replacement of dog bin on Attleboro Lane and potential future replacements.

 

M22/10. Replacement Bollards / Additional Knee Rail Fencing, The Green: To discuss potential options for replacement of concrete bollards at the Green.

 

M22/11. Spring Planting: To discuss how to fund spring planting from current budget and partnership working with Water Orton in Bloom and resource issues relating to maintenance of plants throughout the year.

 

M22/12. Ramp for Van: To discuss purchase of loading ramps for the Council van (up to £40) to mitigate risk of injury from manual handling of the lawnmower whilst transporting between sites.
