22.1                 To elect a chairman for the forthcoming year (the Chairman, when elected, to sign the Declaration of Acceptance of Office.

It was Proposed by Cllr Chown, Seconded by Cllr Hailstone and unanimously resolved to elect Cllr Robinson as chairman.  Cllr Robinson signed the Declaration of Acceptance of Office.

22.2                   Chairman’s remarks

Cllr Robinson thanked fellow councillors for all their hard work over the last year.

There were no comments from the public.

22.5                 To elect a Vice Chairman

It was Proposed by Cllr Freeman, Seconded by Cllr Bevan and unanimously resolved to elect Cllr B. O’Meara as Vice-Chairman.

22.6                 Declaration of Interest and requests for dispensation: (To receive declarations of   interest in accordance with the Localism Act 2011 and to consider granting dispensation(s), as per written requests received by the proper officer, to councillors under section 22 of the Act.

There were no declarations.

22.9                 To approve the dates for the meetings for the forthcoming year:

The following dates were proposed by Cllr Hailstone, Seconded by Cllr Freeman and resolved by a majority vote of 8 to 1.  Cllr Chown voted against the proposal.
